Marketing & Technical Assistance Grant
The Marketing & Technical Assistance Grant is financed through monies received from the 1% Local Option Tax. The program is used to help offset the costs of advancing your business forward through marketing and technical assistance in Wilmington.
The Marketing & Technical Assistance Grant is funded at $50,000 and will be awarded through a one-time competitive grant process with a max award amount of $4,000. Applications are available October 19th with a deadline of November 16th.
Eligible assistance may include:
Marketing and advertising strategies
Paid advertising via newspaper, radio, online
Branding and graphic design
Website design, development, and improvements
Search engine optimization and digital marketing
Social media strategy and consulting
Photography, videography, and other marketing content
Point of Sale system upgrades and system training
Online reservation system
E-commerce and online sales improvement
Customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Bookkeeping and accounting services, new programs, or upgrades
