Soup & Wine Stroll

Friday, September 20, 2019 5-7 pm

Vermont Wine and Harvest Festival preview tasting and the Village Stroll, featuring live entertainment and the Vermont Soup Tasting Contest in the heart of Wilmington. Stroll the historic village of Wilmington, VT while sampling soups from the Valley’s chefs. The various shops, galleries, and restaurants will all be featuring wines from around the world including award winning Vermont Wines by North Branch & Shelburne Vineyards. Wilmington Women's Weekend

October 26-27 2019

Celebrating 'sisters doing it for themselves' in 2019! Come get inspired and light your inner fire before winter. Join us for a micro-business fair/Marketplace in Memorial Hall on Saturday from 11-3, and leave time for special events and to visit Wilmington's many independent shops and restaurants. Round out the day with an inspiring keynote speech by Stasia Savasuk in Memorial Hall at 7:30 pm (doors and cash bar open 7:00 pm). Sunday options include morning yoga, breakfast or a hike up Haystack on Sunday. Leave refreshed and ready to take on the world! Tickets on sale now, with an early bird discount available until October 1!

Trick-or-Treating Downtown

October 31, yearly! | 4pm - 6pm

Shops stay open late as goblins, ghouls, and fairies run around downtown!

Friends of Memorial Hall sponsor many concerts and performances in Historic Memorial Hall (14 W. Main Street). Check their website for a full listing.

Eat, Sleep, Shop Local

December 1-24, 2018

An annual tradition! Earn coupons and chances to win a raffle, all by shopping at local merchants in Wilmington, VT! More information and a full list of participating merchants will be posted in early November!

Apres Ski After Three

Saturdays in February from 3-6 pm

Join us for special happenings (and specials!) in downtown Wilmington's restaurants and shops. Skiing optional!

Beer and Chili Stroll

Last Weekend in March

The Chamber's spring event, sample and vote on chili made by our local chefs, plus Vermont's finest craft Brews. Contact the Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce for more information or to buy tickets!

Independence Day Fireworks


The Independence Day celebration starts at 6:00 p.m. with a party, live entertainment and vendors on the field. The evening culminates with a SPECTACULAR Fireworks display at dusk - 9 p.m.

Parking in town is very limited. There will be "Park and Ride" sites at the Howe Farm on Rt 100 North and on Rt. 9 West with free transportation provided by the DVTA MOOver buses. Buses will return you to the parking lots following the fireworks display.

Wings: Youth Theater Performance

July 5-7, 2019 at 5 pm (note earlier performace times this year to accomodate fireworks displays!)

Always a supremely creative yearly endeavor, with theater, tumbling, circus arts, singing and more. Advance tickets available at Bartleby's the week before the performance. This year's production is an original work, Spin!

Blueberry Block Party

First Saturday in August

The Blueberry Block Party is summer fun at its best!  Join us on South Main Street for the Blueberry pie-eating contest, jammin' band on a flatbed truck, blueberry treats, crafts, and fun for the whole family!
