Annual Duck Races

Sunday, May 24 10am-2pm

Come to Downtown Wilmington for the annual release of rubber ducks into the Deerfield River! Duck ticket sales benefit the Make a Wish Foundation (and you can win lots of local prizes!). Ticket sales start at 10 am, with the duck release around noon. Food, music, and Morris Dancing on the Crafts Inn Lawn kick off our summer event season!

Independence Day Fireworks

Sunday, July 5 2020

The Independence Day celebration starts at 6:00 p.m. with a party, live entertainment and vendors on the field. The evening culminates with a SPECTACULAR Fireworks display at dusk - 9 p.m.

Parking in town is very limited. There will be "Park and Ride" sites at the Howe Farm on Rt 100 North and on Rt. 9 West with free transportation provided by the DVTA MOOver buses. Buses will return you to the parking lots following the fireworks display.

Wings: Youth Theater Performance

TBD for 2020... usually the first weekend in July!

Always a supremely creative yearly endeavor, with theater, tumbling, circus arts, singing and more. Advance tickets available at Bartleby's the week before the performance. This year's production is an original work, Spin! 

Village Strolls

July 11, 2020: 'Play Local!'

Head to Wilmington to meet friends and neighbors! Shops open late, plus: live music, activities for families, interactive events, and more. This year will feature games galore, plus musicians at play around town.

Blueberry Block Party

The Blueberry Block Party is summer fun at its best!  Join us on South Main Street for the Blueberry pie-eating contest, jammin' band on a flatbed truck, blueberry treats, crafts, and fun for the whole family! 

For 2020, this event will coincide with Old Home Week Village night -- it's sure to be a super-festive time!

Soup & Wine Stroll

Friday, October 2 2020 5-7 pm

Vermont Wine and Harvest Festival preview tasting and the Village Stroll, featuring live entertainment and the Vermont Soup Tasting Contest in the heart of Wilmington. Stroll the historic village of Wilmington, VT while sampling soups from the Valley’s chefs. The various shops, galleries, and restaurants will all be featuring wines from around the world including award winning Vermont Wines by North Branch & Shelburne Vineyards. Trick-or-Treating Downtown

Beer and Chili Stroll
